Sarah Obermeyer: As a board member, Sarah oversees the contemplative care pillar of the organization.

Sarah is a certified nurse midwife practicing full-scope midwifery in Los Angeles CA. Sarah practices midwifery in hospital and community birth settings and brings her desire for holistic practice to the clinical setting. She teaches midwifery at Frontier Nursing University and mentors new midwives into the compassionate care of others. One of her most fulfilling roles is as a spiritual director, where she creates space for individuals and groups to experience God more deeply. Sarah is passionate about equity in healthcare and distributive justice that honors each person as valuable and loved.

Sarah holds a B.S. in Nursing, Masters in Nursing with a focus in Midwifery and Women’s Health and a Ph.D. in Nursing.
